At least three people were killed and over fifty injured in a massive explosion at a fuel depot in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.


According to Lebanon's Al Jadid TV channel, the explosion occurred in the densely populated Tariq al-Jadida area. According to the residents living in the building, the landlord kept diesel in the building and according to other sources, several depots of petrol were kept in the depot.


After this massive explosion, experts are investigating whether explosive material was deposited at this place. On the other hand, doctors and fire brigade trains have been sent to the accident site and rescue operations are on and the occupants of the building have been evacuated.


How this explosion happened is not known yet.
