Fog prevailed at some places after rains in the northwest region and there was a possibility of dense fog at many places with the weather remaining dry in the next twenty-four hours.

According to the weather center, there are chances of rain today and there is a possibility of dense fog tomorrow morning and evening. In the last twenty-four hours, there was light rain at many places and there was hailstorm at some places. Three mm in Chandigarh, Hisar seven mm, Karnal 25 mm, Narnaul three mm, Rohtak five mm, Bhiwani seven mm, Adampur six mm, Ludhiana three mm, Patiala five mm, Pathankot 10 mm, Amritsar 12 mm, Halwara nine mm, Bathinda There was rain at many places including three mm, Gurdaspur five mm and hail storms including Delhi.

Srinagar received snow and 59 mm, Jammu 50 mm of rain. In Himachal Pradesh, due to average snowfall and rain in the last twenty four hours, road traffic was severely affected and hundreds of roads were closed. Shimla 17 mm, Mandi five mm, Dharamshala 13 mm, Bhuntar 22 mm, Sundernagar four mm, Kangra 11 mm, Nahan 18 mm, Una 18 mm, Solan 17 mm, Manali 43 mm and Kalpa 17 mm.

The minimum mercury remained between 13 and 15 degrees after the rains.
