Indian
forces and the security agencies are on high alert after they received an input
regarding the recent activities of Pakistan-based terror group,
Jaish-e-Mohammad.
According
to the information procured from the Government sources, the Jaish group has
issued a threat letter in which the later has targeted three top Indian
authorities. Those targeted include Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Union Home
Minister, Amit Shah and National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval.
The
letter was received by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).
“As
per the letter Modi, Shah and Doval are on hit list of Pakistan-based terror
group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM)”, a senior Government officer said adding that it
all happened as a consequence of the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and
Kashmir.
The
threat letter clearly speaks about revenge against the Indian government’s move
to abrogate Article 370, he said.
“The
JeM has also threatened to attack 30 cities, including Jammu, Pathankot,
Amritsar, Jaipur, Gandhinagar, Kanpur, Lucknow and others. The Jaish has also
planned to strike four airports”, the letter reads.
As
per the report, this terror group is preparing a squad to target to execute
their plan in retaliation to the governments’ moved in J&K.
Recently,
a report regarding Lashkar-e-Taiba’s plan on a terror attack in PM Modi's,
Varanasi constituency had theft the sleep of the authorities concerned. Information
suggests that the LeT, led by Hafiz Saeed, had reportedly been making attempts
to establish a base in the Varanasi, Lok Sabha constituency of UP.
As
per an intelligence report, a major conspiracy was being hatched by the LeT
terrorists to attack Varanasi for which they are trying to establish their base
in the city.
