Petrol and diesel prices in the country rose for the second consecutive day on Thursday. Today, the price of diesel increased from 26 to 29 paise. Petrol prices increased from 21 paise to 24 paise.

Yesterday, the prices of both fuels gained momentum after 29 consecutive days of stability. According to Indian Oil, the leading marketing company of the oil marketing sector, the price of petrol in Delhi today increased by 23 paise to Rs 84.20 per liter and diesel by 26 paise to Rs 74.38 per liter.

Diesel in the commercial city of Mumbai today went above Rs 81 per liter.
