The death toll due to Coronavirus infection in the country is increasing continuously. So far, 377 people have died and the number of infected has reached 11,439. The Union Health Ministry said that at least 1,305 people among the infected have been discharged from hospital after treatment and 9,756 people are still under treatment. 76 of them are foreign nationals.

1. Since Tuesday evening, 24 people have been killed due to the virus, out of which 18 people, two each from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi and one each from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
2. According to the figures of the Ministry, Maharashtra has the highest 178 out of 377 people who lost their lives in the country. After this, 50 people have died in Madhya Pradesh, 30 in Delhi, 28 in Gujarat and 17 in Telangana.

7. According to the ministry's data, till Wednesday morning, Maharashtra had the highest number of confirmed cases, 2,687 in Maharashtra, followed by 1,561 in Delhi and 1,204 in Tamil Nadu. There are 969 cases in Rajasthan, 730 in Madhya Pradesh and 660 in Uttar Pradesh. The number of infected people is 650 in Gujarat, 624 in Telangana, 483 in Andhra Pradesh and 387 in Kerala.
8. 278 in Jammu and Kashmir, 260 in Karnataka, 213 in West Bengal, 199 in Haryana, 176 in Punjab, 66 in Bihar, 60 in Odisha, 37 in Uttarakhand, 33-33 in Himachal Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, 32 in Assam, 27 cases were reported in Jharkhand, 21 in Chandigarh, 17 cases in Ladakh.
9. 11 cases have been reported in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, seven each in Goa and Puducherry, two each in Manipur and Tripura and one each in Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
10. To prevent the spread of corona infection, the Government of India has extended the lockdown till May 3, as well as issued guidelines that in the district or area where no corona patient has been exposed, there is something after the 20th date, it will be discounted.
