New cases of corona have come down by 40 thousand

The rate of corona virus infection in the country is slowing down and the cases reported in one day have come down to 40 thousand and the death toll has been below 500 for the second consecutive day.

According to data released on Tuesday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in the last 24 hours, Corona 36,470 new cases were reported while 63,842 people beat the epidemic. This has reduced active cases from 27,860 to 625,857. During this period, the number of people killed has increased to 119,502 due to the death of 488 patients.

So far 79.46 lakh people have been infected with Carona, of which 72.01 lakh have been healthy. With this, the rate of recovery has increased to 90.62 percent and the rate of active cases to 7.88 percent, while the death rate is 1.50 percent.

Maharashtra, the worst affected by the Corona epidemic, has come down to 1,34,657 with a decrease of 6,344 in active cases during the last 24 hours, while the death toll has risen to 43,348 with 84 deaths. At the same time, 9,905 people have become healthy, due to which the number of people getting relief from this epidemic has increased to more than 14.70.
