International standards should be followed in construction in Global Skill Park- Scindia

Madhya Pradesh's Minister for Technical Education and Skill Development, Mrs. Yashodhara Raje Scindia has said that international construction standards should be ensured in the Global Skill Park under construction in Bhopal.

Smt. Scindia, after inspecting the under construction Global Skill Park located at Narela Narrow here yesterday, while instructing the officials, said that the construction of this skill park should be completed in a time bound manner with international construction standards and high quality. Double check before placing small parts in the skill park. Water logging, earthquake, lightning grid, etc. should be taken special care in the building.

On this occasion, it was informed that construction work of Global Skill Park is in progress on 36 acres of land in Narela Narc. The design of the skill park being built at a cost of Rs 645 crores is being done jointly by Monte Carlo and Shreeji. Tata Consulting Engineers Limited has been appointed as a supervising agency. The Global Skill Park complex has over 500 trees. Out of these, around 177 trees have been identified and cut after obtaining permission as per rules. Four times new trees will be planted compared to cut trees.
