Indian Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, has warned Pakistan if the later continues to encourage terrorism against India.

The Defense Minister said that the efforts to destabilize and weaken the country were thwarted and given a befitting reply by the Indian army. Singh was speaking after the inauguration of Colonel Chewang Rinchen Setu on Shyok River in West of Eastern Ladakh near Line of Actual Control with China.

Constructed with a cost of s. 100 crore, the bridge has a capacity of 70 tonnes. The bridge was built by the Project Himank of Border Roads Organization with new technology. In case of war or any strategic activities, the bridge has a strategic importance for quick deployment of the army to Daulat Being Oldie, near LAC. Meanwhile, Singh commended the services of BRO in Nation Building.
