Foreign countries and Indian people living there have provided generous aid to the state of Himachal Pradesh for fighting against the COVID-19.
A total of 1,96,900 three ply masks, 480 Fabipiravir tablets, 15500 gowns and 22,400 goggles have been received from the United Arab Emirates, a spokesperson for the Health Department said
As many as 36 Oxygen Concentrators and 350 D-Type Oxygen Cylinders have been received from the United Kingdom.
Kuwait has given 73 Type-B Oxygen Cylinders, 100 Type-D Oxygen Cylinders, 77 small Pin Type Oxygen Cylinders, 30 big Pin Type Oxygen Cylinders and 78 D & B-Type Regulators.
South Korea has provided 100 B-Type Oxygen Cylinders, 100 Oxygen Regulator Pin Large B Type, 100 Nasal Cannula and 2500 Standard Q Ag-Test Kits to the State.
Singapore has given 242 empty oxygen cylinders of 2Lt and 46 empty oxygen cylinders of 40Lt. Finland has provided as many as 60 D-Type Oxygen Cylinders of 50 litre capacity and 26 D-Type Oxygen Cylinders of 10 litre capacity.
The United States has given 80010 N-95 masks and 28832 Viral Transport Media Tools. Similarly, Kazakhstan has given 57720 three ply masks, Taiwan has given 185 Type-B Oxygen Cylinders, and China provided 150 Oxygen Concentrators.
Switzerland has provided 50 ventilators, Canada provided 20 ventilator accessories, Spain provided 41 ventilators, Egypt provided 10 ventilators, Oman provided 10 TemizivaTocilizumal 400 mg (20ml) and Australia has provided 50 transport ventilators.
He said that the items received were being distributed to the various health facilities as per the requirement. This is helping the State to augment resources for the management of the pandemic.
