Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary B L Santosh has said that Goa might be the first green state on April 20, 2020, if everything went according to plan and activities on the ground.
In a tweet that was retweeted by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, "If everything moves acc to plan & activities on ground Goa may be first GREEN state as on Apr 20. As of now well done ... Keep the eyes & ears to the ground ..... "
One more COVID-19 patient tested negative in Goa on Wednesday, bringing tally down to one in the coastal state.
In a tweet, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane had said," Goa to lead the way! Happy to announce that Goa’s active #COVID19 case is down from 2 to 1, after following due protocols. As per the guideline, a repeat sample was being tested and reported Negative."
Ever since the pandemic broke out in the country, Goa reported seven COVID-19 positive patients.
Over the last two weeks, six persons had been cured as their tests reported negative.
