Farmer dies due to stalling heart rate while sitting on strike in Jind

In protest against the Central Agricultural Laws, the farmers sitting on a sit-in strike amidst the Bharat Bandh call and the village of Garhi, died today due to stalling heart rate.

Police said Kishan Kitab Singh (60), a resident of Ujhana village, was sitting on a dharna running on Garhi Marg near the village on Tuesday morning due to the call of Bharat Bandh. In the afternoon, his health suddenly worsened and he collapsed in a swoon. Her colleagues took her to Narwana General Hospital for treatment where doctors declared her dead. Jitendra, the son of the deceased, said that his father died due to stalling of the heart.
