Decrease in active cases of corona in 23 states and union territories

There have been a decrease in active cases of corona in 23 states and union territories of the country, while it has increased in 12 states and union territories.
Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 2999 active cases during this period. At the same time, Delhi saw a decrease of 1182, while Karnataka had the maximum increase of 539 and Bihar with 275 active cases.
According to the data released by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Friday morning, 36,595 new cases were reported in 24 hours and the number of infected reached about 95.71 lakh. At the same time, the number of healthy people has increased to more than 90.16 lakh, while the death toll has increased to 1,39,188 with the death of 540 more patients. There are currently about 4.16 lakh active cases of corona in the country.
