In fact, Congress MLA Bharat Singh Kundanpur has written a letter to the Gehlot government, demanding to open a liquor shop. He has written in his letter that while the corona virus can be cleaned by washing hands with alcohol, drinking alcohol can also eliminate the virus from the throat of the drinker.
He has written in his letter, 'This is a self-employment scheme for those who practice alcohol and it is also a golden opportunity to earn money. There is a great demand for alcohol in the market. The government revenue is being severely damaged during the prohibition in lockdown and the health of the drinkers is also not good. He also wrote that liquor is infamous, so the Central Government will not allow its sale, the State Government will have to take a decision.
Significantly, in view of the Corona lockdown, the Central Government has banned the sale of liquor throughout the country. Guidelines for this have also been released. Some shops in the country are allowed to open, but liquor shops have not been opened.
