The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) canceled the Indian cricket team's brief tour of Zimbabwe to be held in August on Friday in view of the threat of the Covid-19 epidemic. This decision was expected, as Sri Lanka Cricket announced on Thursday that India's limited overs tour in June-July has been postponed indefinitely.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said in a statement, "The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced on Friday that the Indian cricket team would not visit Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in view of the current threat of the Kovid-19 epidemic."
