Brazilian President has announced to provideFree Corona Vaccine to Countrymen

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has announced to provide free Corona virus vaccine to the countrymen.

"If the ANVISA certification (scientific guidelines and legal order) is received, the Brazilian government will offer the vaccine free and non-compulsory to the entire population," Mr. Bolsonaro said on Twitter. "The President, citing the Ministry of Finance, said that the government has sufficient resources available for the vaccination of all."

Brazilian health officials earlier this month announced that the country would receive the first batch of 10 million doses of the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca Corona virus vaccine in the first two months of 2021, while in the first half of next year A total of 100 million doses are expected in Brazil. According to Brazilian Health Minister Eduardo Pazuelo, another 160 million doses of the vaccine will be produced in Brazil in the second half of 2021.
