Basti Kotwali Police of Uttar Pradesh has registered a case against 200 activists, including former minister of Samajwadi Party (SP), who is on a dharna without permission, under sections of breach of peace etc.

Police sources gave this information here on Tuesday. He said that SP workers had demonstrated against the farmer laws. In this regard, Sub-Inspector Chandra Bhushan Singh has filed a case against 143 senior activists, former minister Ramprasad Chaudhary, along with about 200 workers under 143,188 sections.

It may be noted that SP leaders and activists were protesting against the farmers laws.
