In first of its kind initiative with Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, ASSOCHAM, India’s apex industry body has announced first Realty and Sustainability

towards Indian economy.

The 7-days long platform from November 27 to December 3, will also focus on some of

pertaining to the growth and sustainability of Real Estate sector, an ASSOCHAM release

Dr NiranjanHiranandani, President ASSOCHAM shared on the announcement of this

strong with leasing activity, launch of new projects, available capital and strong market

demand. Due to the pandemic COVID19, Real Estate sector is also impacted badly.

Migration of labour to their hometowns due to lack of work also had its impact on

reach US$ 1 trillion by 2030. By 2025, it will contribute 13 per cent to country's GDP. It is

of this sector. I strongly believe this sector has the potential to produce a lot of jobs and

provide necessary impetus to our economy.”
